A quick teriyaki beef bowl with tender steak, brown rice and colourful veggies. Simple, satisfying and perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients

1 piece steak, sliced

1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce

1 garlic clove, chopped

⅓ cup snow peas, chopped

1/3 cup capsicum, sliced

½ cup broccoli, cut into small florets

⅓ cup cabbage, roughly chopped

⅓ cup carrot, sliced

½ brown onion, sliced
-
1 garlic clove, diced

½ cup brown rice
-
½ tablespoon teriyaki sauce

½ tablespoon soy sauce
-
1 tablespoon spring onion, sliced (to serve)

Directions
Marinade your steak in teriyaki sauce and garlic for 10 minutes. Heat a non-stick saucepan over medium- high heat and cook your steak on both sides for around 2 minutes.
Once cooked, remove from the pan and set aside.
Add in your onion and garlic, cooking for 2 minutes until fragrant before adding in your capsicum, broccoli, snow peas, carrots and cabbage.
Once your veggies are fork tender, add in your cooked brown rice, teriyaki sauce and soy sauce, mixing until everything is well coated. Then, to finish, add in your steak and cook for a further few minutes.
When ready to serve, top with your spring onion. Enjoy!
